Rose and John Kile, Owner/Operators Coastal Cruisers Destin

Coastal Cruisers in Destin is a local, family owned and operated the business in Miramar Beach (on the east side of Destin). The business was started in 2005 by John and Rosemary (Rose) Kile and has been growing ever since.

More than just Bike and Scooter Rentals

“We want to offer more than just bike rentals to visitors.” Says, John, “We love bikes and wanted to have a bike shop in the Destin area that would support all the bicycle riders in the area. I used to love going to my local shop when I was growing up, and that bike shop smell, there’s just something magical about it.”

“Starting as just a Bike Rental business, it was only natural to expand into Bike Service and Repair, then Bike Sales and now Scooter, Scoot Coupe, SUP board, Pontoon boat rentals and more.”

A Perfect Location

The business is located in at 12605 Hwy 98 (Emerald Coast Pkwy) in Miramar Beach, FL. This location is perfectly situated between the Mid-Bay Bridge and Sandestin.

Scenic Hwy 98 is a very popular 3 mile stretch of road which runs parallel to the beach and has some of our favorite places to visit including Pampano Joe’s Seafood House.

Beach Cruisers by Nirve, very cool!

For people who just want to come by the shop and grab bikes or scooters or Scoot Coupes for a couple of hours, the highway is less than a mile away and really easy to get to.

Most of our customers reserve their equipment and we deliver it to there property on their arrival date and then pick it back up when they depart. We provide bike locks and helmets as needed.  We deliver to all of Destin and most of Fort Walton Beach and the 30A in Santa Rosa Beach (See our Service Area Map).
