E-Bikes have become HUGE!

In order for an E-Bike not to be registered, it must have a maximum speed on level ground of 20 MPH. In the State of Florida, you must be at least 16 years old to operate an E-Bike.

Electric bikes have the same rules and regulations as regular bicycles. They are allowed in bike lanes, on sidewalks, and on roads. Helmets are not mandatory in Florida but they are strongly recommended.

As with all vehicles, COMMON SENSE and AWARENESS of surroundings will go a long way toward keeping the rider and others safe.
